BEWI Energy to cooperate with Australian Evolve Surplus for the distribution and recycling of its smart protectors.
BEWI Energy, a provider of smart and sustainable solutions to the energy sector, today announces that the company has entered into a distribution agreement with the Australian company Evolve Surplus for delivery of BEWI tubular smart protectors. The agreement also includes a first batch order providing a start-up volume for Evolve Surplus to activate the Australian market.
“We are very excited about this partnership. Evolve is really a perfect match for us, as they are focusing on re-using industrial equipment and making industries more sustainable, which is really what our core product, the BEWI smart protector is about,” says Geir Skjevik, CEO of BEWI Energy.
Evolve Surplus is an Australian company with a business model to re-use and redeploy surplus global assets, with a wide network of major energy companies as its customers.
The distribution agreement will initially focus on the BEWI smart protectors. However, other BEWI products with a similar profile for re-use and sustainability are also relevant. In addition, the parties are planning to establish a recycling facility for collection of industrial plastic in Australia.
“We are excited to collaborate with BEWI to offer new solutions that not only utilise recycled materials but also provide significant benefits to end users. The BEWI smart protector tick all the boxes for us to develop more sustainable supply chains. For us it is a privilege to work with a forward-thinking organisation such as BEWI and we can’t wait to develop further opportunities through this partnership in Australia,” says Ross Henry, Managing Director of Evolve Surplus.
BEWI Energy offers a range of innovative and sustainable solutions to the energy sector. The tubular smart protectors are reusable, recyclable and a universal solution for OCTG pipes. By having a deposit return scheme, a circular material stream is created, significantly reducing carbon emissions, while at the same time saving the customers both operational time and reduce cost.
